Monitor does not work after i installed new graphics card 10* points?

The graphics works, i have tried it on another computer.
But when i put in mine everything fits in neatly and when i turn it on my computer the monitor simply does not.

The monitor works and the graphics card work so do the cables as i have tested them.
I have checked the BIOS settings for PCI enable.
The computer turns on (fan spins, lights turn up), but screen doesnt
The Power supply is supposed to meet it and it somewhat does (pc turns on) but its also small 220 watt.

But before blaming the power supply i want to exhaust other possibilities. Is their incompatibility with the motherboard for example, or am i doing something wrong?

Thanks in advance.

New graphics card with a 220W PSU? Unless it is a real low end video card, it will overload the PSU, and cause things to not run properly at all.
Next time, mention what video card this is, so we can be sure if it is too big of not for your 220W PSU. (most add-on video cards will not run with a 220W PSU, only a very few...)

Since everything else works on other systems, etc., the only conclusion is your system PSU cannot power the video card you installed.

I would agree with Adrian, also make sure you haven't plugged the cable into the motherboard graphics port rather than the graphics card port

Thanks for the help.
Its a radeon 7750, it gets its power exclusively from the pci slot. Technically it should be able to run with this wattage. And the fan does spin it's just that their is black screen.
