雖然高非博士已經解釋清楚了，但還想補充一些

因為這世上有美式英言和英式英語，所以我們就必須多些了解兩種的說法

在美式用語上，school可指大學，如：

yahoo字典，school條下，其中就有以下解釋：
UNIVERSITY 大學◄ [C,U] AmE -a university, or the time when you study there 【美】大學; 在大學學習期間Where did you go to school ? 你在哪兒上大學？

但英式的英語，school卻是指中、小學等
yahoo字典，school條下，也有其一解釋：
BrE -attending a school, rather than being at college or university or having a job 【英】在求學﹐在上學〔指中﹑小學〕We ' ve got two children at school , and one at university . 我們有兩個孩子在讀中學﹐一個在讀大學。



順便一題，at university絕對是正確

at這個preposition通常是指實質的所在地點
at school/university是指那人/主角住在/置身在學校/大學的校園內
要表達一個仍在讀書(文雅的中文叫:在學)英文係in school.但不會in university.
所以這例句本身有很多不合英文用法和語法的地方。

假如真要用原詞語修理，唯有
Is Maria study in the university?
No, she has not finished school yet.
has not finished school意思是指她仍未完成"學業".

English sentence pattern:-
After the discussion:-
Is Maria at the university?
No, she has not finished school yet.
"school" here means secondary school, a school for young students between the ages of 11--18 or more.Chinese reckoning.It may also mean High School.

School 不是直接地解學業, 可解 college or university, 尤其北美
School 未必指中小學
我們說 graduate school, medical school, law school, business school
In Britain, 有:
The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE)
The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine
兩者屬于 London University
even 讀 undergraduate 如是
