Asking about a specific editor of the 35 Beethoven Sonatas....?

I'm looking into the ABRSM edition of the 35 Piano Sonatas by L. Beethoven. They are edited by Barry Cooper and I'm wondering if anyone out there has heard of them before? Are they any good? I know that they don't have any fingering at all, but it's the interpretive information I am mostly interested in.

I spent yesterday looking at the edition specifically. While ABRMS may have fingering in some of their editions, the one I am looking at didn't have any in it (I know because I checked it out myself).

ABRSM stands for the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, and is the largest music exam board in the UK. They publish scores and books for academic purposes and are generally well respected.
There is a discussion amongst pianists about the Beethoven edition here http://www.pianoworld.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/ubb/showflat/Forum/2/topic/017463/Number/0/site_id/1#import
and the NY Times article here

I can't say whether they're good, not knowing much about music, but it's the edition I use. Contrary to what you've heard, it has fingerings, and very useful ones at that. They fit the hand really well. Each volume comes with a booklet that details the technical and musical difficulties, differences between editions, etc., which are probably really useful if you're a serious pianist (unlike me - I just play the sonatas to entertain myself, so I rarely read them).
