"Mixing drugs and Alcohol" meaning?

This is a topic for one of my assignment, and I'm a little confused. Am I supposed to research about mixing drugs and alcohol together? or am I supposed to research about mixing different types of drug together and mixing different types of alcohol together?

You are supposed to research the effects of ingesting both alcohol and other drugs at the same time. Many drugs interact with each other to produce effects greater than the sum of both of them used separately.

You're supposed to research taking different drugs with alcohol. A lot of people will take whatever drug that they like with alcohol and different mixtures have different effects. ex. cocaine and alcohol, prescription drugs with alcohol, weed and alcohol, etc. Alcohol will strengthen the effects of certain drugs, and have a chemical reaction with others.
