Hello, my name is XXX, 22 years old, joined the work force after 11 years in the electrical and mechanical foundation completed secondary school diploma. But then what you read is not my favorite subject. But because, when young unmotivated, poor examination results, forced choice. So after reading in the insurance college for 2 years, but the job is not my ideal. After two years of work steeped, my character from the initial slow transition to a more adept at communicating with others. I know my age now, to regain textbooks, has started late compared to others, so I am even more to catch up. Since childhood, I liked painting and drawing, so the design is also very interested. So, I hope that future work will be part of my interest, so the design of the enrolled subjects, after the completion of this industry to join XXX.

Good morning/afternoon, I’m xxx and I’m now22 years old. I joined the workforce soon after finishing my Diploma in Vocational Education in 2011. However,I didn’t enjoy the programme very much because I wasn’t able to apply for theprogramme I liked, and I didn’t have many choices considering my publicexam results at that time. After finishing the programme, I’d also worked as an agent in the insurance industry for two years, though it wasn’t my ideal job.But in these two years, I’d learnt lots of communication skills, like how to corporatewith my colleague. I understand that it may be too late for me to sit down inthe classroom and read the textbooks again at this stage, yet this factor will bemy motivation to work much harder than the others as I don’t want to lose mysecond chance. Actually, I really love drawing and painting, and I’veestablished this hobby since I was young. I hope that what I work in the futurecan be something I really like, so I apply for this programme. At the end ofthe day, I know I have great interest in this programme and I really hope thatyou can give me a chance to further expand my interest of drawing. Thank youvery much.

Even though self-introduction is important in the interview, you still need to express your passion in this programme and prepare for other questions because you can hardly prepare all the questions the examiner(s) ask, and your instant performance is what they will emphasis on.

你好,我叫XXX,今年22歲,在11年完成中專機電基礎文憑後就投身社會工作。但那時所讀的科目並非我所喜好的。但由於,年少時無心向學,會考成績欠佳,迫於無奈的選擇。所以讀完中專後從事保險2年,但這份工作並不是我的理想。經過2年工作浸淫後,我的性格由最初的慢熱轉變為較為善於與別人溝通。我知道以我現在的年齡，重拾課本，起步已較別人遲，因此我更加要急起直追。從小,我就很喜歡畫畫及繪圖,因此對於設計也很有興趣。所以，我希望將來的工作會是我興趣的一部分,因此報讀了設計這個科目,完成後投身XXX的這行業。
