can i use 53mm wheels for cruising on a skateboard?

i ordered 53mm wheels but i couldnt cancel it in time so now im stuck with em. is it okay to use 53 mm wheels for cruising around, like to get to places? im not really into tricks since im clumsy but i was wondering if it would be okay to use this size or save up for bigger wheels/

Not really. 53mm is pretty small and wouldn't really roll that great over cracks and stuff. Are they at least 78a durameter (hardness?). I mean, you could cruise on them, but they wouldn't be ideal. A usual cruiser setup is like 60mm diameter (usually if wheels only mention one size, it is the diameter), 53mm wideness and 78a durameter.

53mm is 2.09inches for those who prefer imperial measurements.
