Good morning/ afternoon/ evening, my name is XXX and I graduated from XXX secondary school. I'm delighted to be granted this opportunity of interview and it's my wish to get admitted to relevant progammes for further studies.

I have always had a deep interest in the tourism and hotel industries in Hong Kong. This is why I chose Tourism and Hospitality Studies as one of my elective subjects in DSE, through which I could gain a better understanding of the tourism industry. Also, I like watching different travel programs on TV, as it's interesting to know cultures of different places, which vary from place to place. With these reasons, I would therefore like to join the hotel industry, where I can get exposure to different cultures through serving tourists from different countries, hence enabling myself to serve different tourists better.

Furthermore, I'm a patient person. As an employee of the hotel industry, it's important to have great patience, since he/she needs to listen to different tourists on their needs and problems to help them out. Thus, I believe that I possess the necessary qualities to work in the hotel industry.

Last but not least, I joined a learning tour organised by my school to Thailand last year. Not only did I visit different tourist spots, I also visited the hotels there which is a very special experience to me.

With my interest, qualities and experience, I really hope that I could take courses relevant to the hotel industry. Thank you so much for your time and this interview opportunity.
