What is the difference between the meaning of sentence 1 and that of sentence 2?

一般來說，這兩句的的意思分別是：I have gone to China: 我已經到了中國 或 我去過中國 (視乎你的語境)
I have been in China: 我曾經在中國逗留過 或 我已經在中國 (視乎你的語境)
而我認為，這兩句意思上的分別很大程度是在於 preposition 的分別，而非 gone 和 been。
這是因為 to 本身有著「從一處到別處去」的含義，in 則純粹表示「所在的位置」，缺乏了 「從一處到別處去」的含義。
就例如說，把第二句 I have been in China 變成 I have been to China，意思就已經變成了我去過中國。
