I'm looking for something that wood be good for playing around in my free time I'm not a professional musician or any thing like that. I'm running win 8.1 and using adacity, I don't really like or want a windows os or the music production software thats compatible with. Macs are way to over priced hackintoshishes are illegal and i don't know how to build one. I'm gonna be recording instruments I'm not into electronic music but will probably use some kind of simple drum software (drummers are hard to find). If thier's is any kind of windows software that's free or cheep that wood work better than what i have I could be interested in that instead of a new os or maybe running parallels. my computer is a toshiba satellite c55-a with 6 gig ram and 750 gig harddrive
