When referring to women as chicks, do women see that as duragatory?

Kind of, yeah. It's not like it has a positive connotation. Also it's quite outdated to refer to ladies as "chicks".

na, that's just a phrase used to say really fast and cool because saying women sounds like your saying men, and ladys sounds like your saying old ladies, but chicks sounds fast and like your talking about vaginal hair which implies vagina. that's the way i always thought about it as a teenager, when i got older, i now use the phrase beautiful ladies. it's usually words half deaf people hear that trigger the chicks or the ending of the words beautiful ladies. to a half deaf person they can hear the "ch" in chicks and the "cks" so it sounds like "chucks", and for a half deaf person all they hear from beutiful lady is "utiful lady" which they figure is beautiful lady anyways. you say women, they hear "men" part, so it's sounds like your gay. as a teen chicks is more better. as an adult, beautiful ladies sounds way better especially to people who are choosibly hearing. that is my take on it.

That is a very old fashioned term that was used in the '70's.... it is kinda sexist as we don't have feathers
