What if i want to stop my SSi?
Ok I'm getting about $714 a month from supplemental income, but I need to make more money, so my friend who owns an family arcade place, is offering me a job, and he will double my wages, since he and I are like brothers, so I need to cancel my benefits so I won't get charged for fraud or pay money back.
so what should I do? I'm worried if I'm gonna get in trouble for fraud.

Don't worry..you can still work onSSI!
Simply call the number at ssa.gov or the office near you and tell them you are trying a job.
If your earnings go above the limit, they'll take out some money from your SSI check every month.
If the money yoy make is past the limit, you wont get a check that month.
If you eventually make more than the allowed limit, youll lose it.
But if the job doesn't work out, tell them and youll go back to your regular check amount.
Alissa is right. Just call and ask they what to do. They will totatally LOVE to have you call and ask. It means you are doing the right thing.
Also... did you know that the goverment set up an agency to HELP you get off of SSI and into work??? It is called Vocational Rehabilitation. Talk with them. They can pay for training, for equipment, for just about ANYTHING you need to get you off of SSI and into work!
Go for it!
Sky is the limit. No permission is required to be taken from here. You are free do so as per your own whims an fancies about all these things.
