Should I be a doctor or a lawyer?
don't tell me to choose other jobs bc these are the jobs i'm most interested in. okay so I live in Hong Kong, and high school graduates take an exam called dse, which only allows you to take 3 electives apart from the core subjects (Chinese, English, Maths and liberal studies). i need to choose my electives this year, and I want to take englit, history and economics, but i've always wanted to be a doctor bc i think it's really interesting, but universities require a chem elective and they also prefer an additional bio elective, but i'm really weak at both subjects, whereas i'm the strongest in the three I want to take. i'm not as interested in being a lawyer, but i'm fine with it, but I just think it's more interesting to be a doctor and i've heard that many lawyers detest their jobs a lot. so should I just go for it and be a doctor and go the safer route and be a lawyer?

If none of the electives required for medical training are those you're strong at - then perhaps doctor isn't an ideal career for you.
I say lawyer, but think this through a little more. Don't take suggestions from random people who don't know your personality.
do what youd prefer not what is the safer route because otherwise in 5 or 6 years youll be in a dead end job that you hate.
