It's a big city - any area in particular?
Best place to start - talk to the local council. They'll be able to tell you what colleges and sixth forms there are, and help you with for further information. They'll often have entry requirements (eg so many GCSEs with specific grades or subjects), and will offer different things (eg a-levels, vocational subjects etc)
