leaving my power supply okay?

i got a new power supply cause my old one doesnt work.. So anywho when i received the power supply and the minute i opened it, it wasnt the right one the new power supply is bigger then the OEM. So i was thinking instead of the hassle can i just leave it out without the cover?

No! There are dangerous voltages involved with power supplies. Install it properly or return it for the correct model.

yes you can
or remove casing altogether....or buy new casing...or return,before that check the watt,voltage,the pin
if it was higher or better psu,i wont return it.......
