buffering video (flash) stalling?

I'm streaming video online on Flash based video on Safari and it stalls all the time. I've a decent internet connection and I know that's not the issue, because I can see that a good amount has already buffered but that doesn't stop it from stalling. It's really irritating and weird

I found a pseudo for the terminal online, that worked, but my mac started to overheat and I had to revert to original settings. I tried Reset Safari, delete Flash and Java cache.... nothing.

The problem is obviously the mac and not the internet speed. Anyone knows a solution???
