Penny stocks are a sucker's game. Save your time and your money, and don't even bother. The only people who make money are the ones who sell tips and systems to suckers, and the people who manipulate the stock price so they make money from the suckers.

Here's a common pump-and-dump scenario. Some people get together and target a penny stock. It doesn't take much buying or selling to affect the price of penny stocks, so the group starts buying the stock. The stock starts going up. The group buys more, the stock goes up some more. Now the group sells a "hot tip" and spams message boards saying what a great stock it is, look at the chart, you can see it's starting to take off. Now the suckers start buying the stock (that the group already bought cheaper) and the group sells their stock to the suckers trying to get in. They make a profit. The suckers end up holding the bag.

Not worth your time or money.

That's no better than playing the tables at a casino, if you ask me.
