Irrespective／Regardless of 的詞性

閣下似乎一個很重視語文結構和系統分析的人
但先勸導一句文字的組合和句子的寫法不是因為詞性配對而是意思表達的選擇來決定。

Irrespective／Regardless都是adjective(形容詞)
因為它們of的東西(即後面跟住要表達的)是名詞(stock, cost)而不是動詞(動作/行為)，這是文法歸納的測試原則。
我也查字典Irrespective標明是adj(只有一類)；regardless則有adj 和 adv，adv註明"口語, 省略用法" - 意思有時在句尾加上regardless以表示強調或感嘆/反話等表達句子中講述的動作或行為。例如：He loves her, regardless.意思不是他不理她是誰也愛，而是表達他無條件地愛她(形容的是愛這動作-所以是副詞adv)。

同理full of/out of等後面都是形容物件=形容詞片語(用你的理解名稱)

out of cost你覺得怪是因為英語沒有out of cost這phrase; because of something由於because of這phrase是較為普遍(可以百搭)，所以Because of COST, we will have the work done.你從填上字句感覺上順，但其實理解意思的邏輯和前後文上並不合理。Because of COST意思是「因為要使錢」，所以我們的工作便將會完成。句意上「要花錢/有價錢」跟「工作完成」的因果關係不成立，所以一樣不合理的錯句子。句子的成立不單是結構和文法規則(詞性位置對)便了，最重要是詞的意思跟句子組合要表達的情況/情節/意思是否成立。

你問有那些類同adj of noun唯有你自己多看書，但留心不是所有xxxx of 的phrase都是這種的，因為這類用presposition phrase的結構不是單一的。

regardless (adverb)
We carried on, regardless.

regardless of (preposition)
We will continue the race, regardless of the weather.

irrespective of (preposition)
We consider all qualified job applicants, irrespective of sex or age

雖然有字典列 irrespective 為副詞, 但無例子. 因全用 ”irrespective of”, 當前置詞用.

irrespective of, regardless of, out of, because of 這種類名稱 complex preposition, or group preposition ~ combination of 2 or 3 words that functions as a preposition.
其他的例子:
in addition to, in spite of, instead of, in case of, in front of, on account of, by way of....

不是 prepositional phrases.

1. It is + adjective.
It is irrespective (regardless) ~ 錯

2. adj. + noun (生物, 東西, 事件)
regardless (irrespective) thing ~ 錯

3. noun + linking verb + adj.
The thing is regardless (irrespective) ~ 錯

英漢與少數字典列形容詞, 是無意義, 失去形容詞功能
