Why does everyone LOVE the movie Frozen?

I have watched it. It wasnt OMG like everyone else says.
everyones like I love elsa shes my favorite disney princess now!
and im like you mean anna?
and they are like no elsa
and i say annas the princess, elsas the queen.

i mean this isnt the first movie where you didnt need a prince for (you seen brave?)
brave is the best, in my opinon to teach girls to be theirselves.
(like she dont listen she rips her dress, shes a tomboy, she DONT end up with a boy like frozen did, i can go on for sooo long why brave teaches the same lesson better)
and I think that is really overated.

rapunzel is just like anna.
elsa is just a downer for most of the movie

and let it go isnt THAT good of a song.
in tangled, they didnt need a snowman, boy,and deer for funny.
they had just the boy and girl.

in YOUR opinion why is frozen popular and what do you think?

To be honest with ya I loved Frozen I really do cause I loved the score done by Christoph Beck and the animation is flawless. BUT as a whole I have to go with Tangled and I tell ya why.

#1 Each Character had its own back story. Rapunzel had magical golden hair that she received as a baby due to her mother getting sick during labor.Eugene Fitzherbert used a fake name and persona Flynn Rider cause he hated being a nobody. Gothel (the villain) wanted to be young again and she was such a manipulative liar.

#2 The story was brilliant and easy to follow, unlike Frozen which was all abut the songs and the music and not the actual plot on telling us how on earth did Elsa receive her magical powers? Was she born with a frozen heart or what?

#3 Voice cast in Tangled was brilliant even though you know who they are.And I am a HUGE fan of Mandy Moore since 1999. Plus Zachary Levi is hilarious in this movie.

#4 ALAN MENKEN's score and the songs in Tangled are SO good I love the song I See The Light. At least I See the Light wouldn't give you a migraine like Let It Go,which is in my top 10 favorite songs of all time but it wouldn't be my all time favorite song because that piano annoys me its like someone getting murdered with the LOUD PIANO playing near the end of the song in Frozen.

#5 Rapunzel and Eugene's relationship is a lot more genuine than Anna and Kristoff's who are so cute together don't get me wrong but I felt that Anna was using Kristoff the same as Giselle from Enchanted with Robert because they were meant to be with the ones who they love now instead of the ones they were suppose to marry.

#6 Villian twist in Frozen destroys it for me which is why I gave Frozen an 8 out of 10. I mean seriously having the prince(spoiler) as the bad guy was ******* terrible.

#7 Songs in Frozen come out of nowhere and they should have spread each song out more like between every 15 to 20 mins NOT having a song after song after song making you say what the heck there is ANOTHER SONG but I haven't even learnt off the first song yet??

#8 Sven is a rip off of Maximus from Tangled. As they both act like dogs. But Maximus ALL THE WAY

Frozen: B+
Tangled: A+

I think the main reason why Frozen is popular is because of the sisterly love and the whole you don't need a man to fall in love with you(Ahem Brave anyone, Mulan as both women didn't need anyone well Shang is Mulan's lover but at least she wasn't ranting about love?).

Frozen and Brave, both have the same message: be yourself. That's true. But Frozen sent that message in a better way. Something that is very usual to see in movies, is a girl who doesn't want to follow her dad's rules or to do what everyone wants her to do and, to show them who she really is, she makes them go crazy with naughty attitudes. Frozen says 'be yourself' in a better way. We have a girl, that kept her powers from everyone, afraid of their reaction and all. And them, there's a twist, where she shows everyone who she really is and.. Let it go. And the story behind the reason why she kept it from everyone it's very intense, once she had to keep distance from her own sister. Brave is kinda... Easy. You don't see very intense scenes, very dramatic like you see in Frozen. In Frozen, we see the real trouble, the real problem and it's a very sad and important: Elsa can't be herself without hurting people. In Brave, we see a normal Disney's trouble, a problem that was created by magic and all: the girl's mom turns into a bear. And Frozen's graphics and voice cast was just awesome! Especially Olaf, he didn't have a weird and thin voice, like I expected, was a rough and soft voice that makes him funny. Frozen is a Disney's movie just like Brave, but one thing is sure: You can apply various Frozen's scene to your life, because it goes beyond a childish movie. Sometimes, you keep things to yourself afraid that you might hurt someone or someone might judge you (Elsa keeps her powers from everyone using gloves). Sometimes, you just need to do sacrifices, be apart from someone, so you can't hurt him/her (Elsa leaves and starts to live in a castle made of ice in the middle of nowhere, so she wouldn't hurt Anna or anyone else) . Sometimes, you toss something, believing that it doesn't work, that's broken, but in the end of the day, it's better than the one you chose, believing that it would work (Anna was clearly more into Hans, the Prince of The Southern Isles, than into Kristoff, the Ice Salesman). Sometimes, all you need is a little bit of love to make your life easier (Elsa brings back summer by filling her heart with her love for Anna, like, unfrozing her heart). In Brave, all I could apply was be yourself and don't care with what people think (Merida being herself) and that things always work out (her mom learning how to keep the most humanly possible, even as a bear and turning back into a woman). That's all. They're both good movies, but I like Frozen best. By the songs, you can be sure that they're the ones that make the movie better to watch. Especially when they have so strong meanings, like Let It Go, saying for you to be yourself, For The First Time In Forever, talking about new experiences, you know? And the cast was just amazing, especially with Idina Menzel. She has a strong voice and... Mature voice that fits perfectly with Elsa's seriousness. And one last thing: It wasn't for nothing that Frozen was put on the same level as Lion King. Again, Brave is a good movie, but Frozen is better. Oh, did I mentioned that Frozen got and Oscar? Yeah, those guys don't give those figurines for nothing. I believe Frozen deserve all the success it got.

I don't know. I saw it, thought it was entertaining, but didn't love it.

I don't see the point in having the two girls grow up apart out of fear that Elsa would hurt Anna, why not explain to her instead of just runining both girl's lives?

I think Frozen is a beautiful movie because the story I think is original and show us how important love is... however the characters drawing/animations have something unique like other movies. A nice movie.

Frozen is my favorite movie of ALL time. Seriously. And Frozen is not just about love. it is mostly about the two sisters, Anna and Elsa.

It felt very disney and broadway. Frozen is a very catchy musical with great female characters, which get feminist praised. I think it's great but a little bit overrated due to that ******* twist, bad parenting and logical politics. Still its not a bad movie.

You have to realize that the original Star Wars trilogy was amazing when it first came out. This generation knows all of the secrets, but for the generation that slowly realized everything as the movies came out it was incredible. In fact I know people from the earlier generations who like the original movies better, because of the fact the characters in the original. Yoda is an amazing character, because of who he is. You don't understand how much strength and wisdom that Yoda holds.Think about it, he's the longest living Jedi and he realizes that it was best for him to go the "swamp like a quitter" as you said, because he is the one that will teach the future generations of Jedis. And honestly, what would you have done? Your fellow warriors are being killed left and right; is it logical to rush out and die yourself? Or is it better to wait? This is just a generation difference perhaps, but you have to realize what the original version of Star Wars was like to the original viewers.

Tangled is a movie that adults can understand and Frozen has catchy songs and a beautiful princess/queen whatever that they can admire. :)
