這句的意思是:我們可以將who, which 和that等省去，當它們在限定關係子句是受詞時
可能說到這裏，你也不明白，就舉個列子，如：
Sharon is the woman (who) I have been looking for.
這句的who因為是關係子句who I have been looking for的受詞，所以在這個時候，我們可以將who省去
Sharon is the woman I have been looking for.

因為:defining relative clause 就是在relative clause中的資料是必須要的, 沒有這些資料就不能分辨main clause所指的是甚麼, 這類的relative clause句子可用relative pronoun (which, who, whom), that, 或不用任何字開頭
