Is it legal for youtube to post full length movies as well as full length TV shows?

Many of these movies are rather new. Some were American made, others were foreign. Would this not violate copy-right laws?

Curica....you can watch free tv. It has episodes of popular shows (FRIENDS, The Office, Pretty Little Liars) I use it all the time. Also, YouTube sometimes has movies free.
