Mary has received Tom's letter. 宜家Tom封信係Mary 既朋友個度，佢想睇下封信，之後會俾返Mary ，咁我係lee 段期間係米唔可以用have received。

如果你話, Mary 到現在都收唔到, 你會話Mary has not received the letter.
如果你話, Mary 已經收到,
你會話Mary received the letter.
(用過去式, 因為重點係 Mary 已經收到, 唔適合用 perfect tense 去強調個時間問題)
