Have a question that says a rock is mined to fill a sinkhole and put in subterranean, can it turn metamorphic?

Where is the subterranean? Is it to far up for metamorphic rocks to form?

it also needs to be exposed to enough heat and pressure to realign and recrystallization of the minerals in the rock

No, for metamorphism to occur, you need huge amounts of pressure and/or temperature to metamorphose the crystalline structure of the rock. Filling in a sinkhole doesn't accomplish this.
