1.The base of a cuboid is 10cm wide and 15cmlong. If the total area of all lateral faces of the cuboids is equal to thetotal area of its two bases, find its height.

Concept:
1. Lateral faces refers to the total surface area of a solid minus the base(s) of the solid.
2. Cuboid is a solid with rectangle base and sides

Let the hight of cuboid be h cm

Total area of all lateral faces:
15 x h x 2 + 10 x h x 2
= 50h cm^2

The total are of its two bases:
= 15 x 10 x 2
= 300 cm^2

For Total area of all lateral faces equals to The total are of its two bases,
Hence,
50 h = 300
h= 6 cm

So, height required is 6 cm
