How much should I pay my parents rent?
I am 18 and I have recently started an apprenticeship and am earning £950 a month. My parents have not asked me or my brother (who is 20 and earns £500 a month) to pay rent, but they have asked us to pay for travel costs (£70 a month) and anything on the side such as clothes/cosmetics ect. I feel that I should pay some amount to them however I don't know how much. I have looked it up and most of the answers are in $ but I need it in £. Does anyone know what % i should pay?

That's very commendable that you feel the obligation, but you don't have to pay them anything. Just continue to be a good son, that's probably all they want, Take them out to dinner every once in a while to show your appreciation.
I'd put £100 a month in a savings account instead and let them know you are doing this. It is really hard to get on the property ladder without a deposit and I'm sure your parents will appreciate that you are saving towards that.
Myparents didn't want me paying rent either but my own stuff - adidtional Sky, Broadband, instead I was saving money for a depoist for a house, which is what they wanted me to do and it paid off.
As much as you can afford.
About 1/5 of your income to them for room and board
參考: Tax pro
Look at whats for rent in your area pay 30% less than that, If they do not want to take it start putting that in savings someday you will want to buy a home and your parents can come stay with you when their own home is to much for them to handle
If they do not ask you to pay rent, don't worry about it! Pay for your own gas, food, clothes, etc, and help out around the house. For most parents this will be enough until you establish your career.
you could offer to pay a 1/3 off the household bills or maybe pay about £120 a month seems fair
It's between you and them.
