free student architecture competitions?

i'm 16, and i want to be an architect, like a building one, not interior design...
but to get into a good uni, it's better to get something related to the course (even if this is argueable, please don't argue about it;
and i don't really have much money to spend, so....
are there any competitions relating to architecture (like anything, buildings, bridges, parks, museums; etc..)
or any place (or website) that shows a list of competitions,
i know i am SUPER unlikely to get anything, but.... better try than nothing...
at least i get the experience..
