I've been self employed now for a few wks, I only work 9hrs a wk as I'm still building up a clientele. It wouldn't be enough to support myself and kids financially if I left my partner (things not going well with him at mo)
Anyone know what benefits I can claim? if any now I'm self-employed. I've never been on benefits so its all really confusing for me.
This is just gor peace of mind x

With spelling that bad, maybe you should go back to school to learn proper english in order to get a proper job. You can claim income support or tax credits if your earnings are so less. I hope you are not going to teach such bad English to your numerous kids all from their different fathers.

As a single parent you would need to work 16 hours a week to be able to claim working tax credits.

This can be made up of various 'jobs'. e.g. advertising for clients,

See this link for the details:

You should also be entitled to child tax credits, child benefit, and maybe housing benefit and council tax support and of course child support from the father of your children which is not taken into account for benefits.

You can put your details into the calculator on here: www.turn2us.org.uk for a good guide.

You should be able to claim working tax credits. Talk to DWP.
