How can I get the music I want without the lyrics?

I want to make a parody song from an actual song that an artist made and I heard it from GTA V (Grand Theift Auto V). Anyway, I am interested in getting just the music part of the song but include my own lyrics into it. Of course, I am aware of the copyright stuff and all that jazz, but making this parody song is really something I want to do. I already made the lyrics a\and picked out the right song, but I want to know if it's just possible to add in my own lyrics into the song? Please for you tech savy peeps out there, give me some advice. Thank you in advance for your advice.

If you're "aware of the copyright stuff and all that jazz" then you already know you cannot legally upload or otherwise distribute that music without a license from the owners of the copyright, unless you want to be sued. The "parody defense" might work for the lyrics but certainly not for the remainder of the copyrighted music.

What's the song called? Find that out and then google "- insert song title- instrumental" or "-insert song title- karaoke" and it should come up, and then you can record yourself singing over it
