It would be important for the psychologist to live in the chosen community and his home would be `open house` for questions and guidance. He/she would take part in programmes designed to bond the community and would blend in with fellow residents. He/she would also act as a referral point to other professionals if required. It can be very rewarding in many ways even if the psychologist has a family.
