英文作文題目係 My Favourite Festival

My favourite festival is Christmas, I enjoy the festive atmosphere around me that I could submerge into it and forget every trouble I am facing.
As I am a generous individual, I love sharing happiness to the others,
Christmas offers me a perfect opportunity to do so, I can share my happiness by singing christmas carols and giving my dear friends a gift.
Christmas has been my favourite festival for nearly 5 years. Vaguely I recall that 5 years ago, I stared at my christmas tree with the mistletoe on, wishing that one day I can grow taller than it, and now my wish came true. Looking back at the christmas tree beside me, I realised how much I have grown these few years, and it is this tree that constantly reminds me to stay strong and stay still and encourages me to overcome any adversities.

As I've assumed that this is a P5 or 6 composition. I've written it in a juvenile tone to portray the juvenile feeling .

My favourite festival is Spring Festival .Spring Festival is the most important festival in China. It’s to celebrate the lunar calendar ‘s new year . The Spring Festival lasts about 15 days long .
In the evening before the Spring Festival ,families get together and have a big meal .I like to set off firecrackers. Dumplings are the most traditional food . I like the festival very much ,because I can have delicious food and wear new clothes . I can also get some money from their parents. This money is given to children for good luck . People put New Year pictures on the wall for good fortune. I visit my relatives and friends with the words “Have all your wishes ”. I enjoy the Spring Festival ,during this time I can have a good rest .
