Where is good to live in Seattle?

My family is planning to immigrate to US and we are picking Seattle (mainly because it's close to Vancouver). May I seek your help and let us know where is the best area we can consider to live? We like good neighbourhood, nice area, safe and good school district as well because I have a son around 5 years old. Hope you all can give me more advices and is Seattle a good city to live in? Many thanks

you cannot just emigrate anywhere. you can only go where you will be legally sponsored.. via a work visa or a parent/child or sibling who is already a citizen.

If you can afford it, "good neighborhood, safe area, good school district" defines Bellevue, Redmond, Issaquah, and Mercer Island. All would be lovely suburbs of Seattle to settle in.
If you are looking for neighborhoods within Seattle, I suggest Queen Anne, Laurelhurst, Madison Park.
All of these areas have nicer homes, and are more expensive however. Please ask again if you need more "budget" options.
