transpiration from 1st to 2nd floor?

if i had a column of grass reaching from the first floor's water tank to the second floor of water pool, would the water be sucked up by transpiration to the second floor?
if not, how about using capillary to pull the water up?
i'm trying to find a way to get water from 1 to 2nd floor without using energy, doesn't matter if takes days to do it.

It's still going to require energy, no matter what. You cannot move a fluid against gravity without using energy.

I doubt a column of grass has sufficient pull to get water that high up, but you could try a tree - tree roots often go very deep and trees are obviously capable of getting water to even their highest branches. However, this is not without use of energy - it needs the sun to provide heat and start transpiration. The tree itself will also require nutrients in the soil that will eventually deplete if not refilled.
