moving steam files in directory across hard drives?

I have all my games in a games directory that i created on my C drive . i want to move the entire folder to my E drive. the part i am worried about is that the games folder contains my steam directory. i have had problems moving steam files in the past. will i be able to move my entire games folder over without a problem?

It might work but probably the best way to ensure that it will work is to install them all again. That may take awhile, but when you click to install, it will have the option to change where you want to save it to. Select the drive you want to save it to. But try moving it first. If that doesn't work, see if there's a way to change to "search" location of your steam directory. Good luck!
