Filing taxes as a US citizen living here who is married to Canadian who lives in canada?

Anyone know how to do this?
Experience with this?
I didnt make any money last year but wife needs me to file to prove to canada i didnt make money.

You can request a verification of non-filing letter.

You can file a 1040A, mark it as MFS, write NRA in the spouse's SSN box and send it to the service center. If it truly is $0 income, attach a note saying this is to make Canada happy.

Anyone who wants to file is allowed to file. Fill out Form 1040-EZ, 1040A, or 1040. Check the box for married filing separately. It won't take very long, because most of the form will get zeroes or be left blank.
