為何不能選(B) ?

因為你需要幫忙的時候，你會找人幫忙，而不是找地方幫忙
所以要選whom，不選where


2.The company is very satisfied with ______ they have done in this industry.
A) where
B)what
C)who
D)that
為何不能選D)要選B) ?

公司很滿意他們在這個產業裡所完成的事。

所以空格裡面應該要填 the things that
所以整句會是 The company is very satisfied with the things that they have done in this industry.

the things that又可以用what代替，所以要選what，表示他們所做的事
如果你只選that，那the things就被刪掉了，that就沒有可以修飾的東西(that they have done修飾the things)，所以不能選that。

所以文章的難度也要慎選，如果一篇文章只有10%左右的字看不懂，你還可以靠上下文讀出意思，讀久了就有語感，字彙量也會隨之增加，並不一定得查字典。但如果你整篇都看不懂，你不查單字還是看不懂，那就沒有效果。所以，慎選適合自己程度的文章也是非常重要的!

我個人覺得 每個人的方法都不一樣
我反而覺得多聽對我幫助比較大
大方向是多看多聽沒有錯
但就像我說的 如果你沒有基礎 看再多也很難進步
所以或許也得背 也得多讀 但哪個你比較容易記住 我就沒有辦法幫你解答了

因為他看到報紙某某國小六年級多億考985...........然後他就一直說上面那個
(那個小女孩讀的方法)

說我都把時間花在查單字上了 沒效果
可是我的基礎又不好
如果文章有九成單字看不懂 那不就完了??

both "where" and "whom" are correct, however, intuitively, we would use "whom" instead of "where". After all, when you need help, you ask "people" for help, not "place" for help. Hence, "whom" is a better answer.

It is because of "done". It describes "what" they have done, not "that" they have done.

My point is you DON'T need grammar to make the right choice, as long as you can have good feeling with English and understand of the context. Of course, such a feeling and understanding needs lots of time to establish it.

Learning and memorizing the grammar rules without using them is useless, because language is a tool, you need to use it to get familiar with. Learn and remember how to use it will NOT let you know how to use it when you want to use it.
