log2 = 0.3010
log 3 = 0.4771

log x
= log [444.....444 (100 digits)]
≒ log (0.4444...... x 10^100)
= log (0.4444......) + log (10^100)
= log (4/9) + 100 log (10)
= log 4 - log 9 + 100
= log 2^2 - log 3^2 + 100
= 2 log 2 - 2 log 3 + 100
= 2 x (0.3010) - 2 x (0.4771) + 100
= 99.6478
≒ 100 (to nearest integer)

logx = log(4.44444....X10⁹⁹) = log(4.444444....) + log(10⁹⁹)

= 0.6478 + 99 = 99.6478
