香港學校係教美式英語定英式英語~20點

傳統中小學通常用英式英語,因為英式英語先係最傳統嘅英文。

British English, mostly. Because Hong Kong was once a colony of Britain.

As for which one is better. It doesn't really matter, because they are similar.

If you want to learn something of literature, you should choose British English.

While if you want for daily use, or communication, I would suggest American English (because you'll probably meet Americans more, also people are influenced by Americans more.)

But the difference is little. So you shouldn't worry about which to choose. Both are accepted to the public, and even universities like Cambridge or Oxford, etc
