"Neutrons can interact with electrons if a neutron is flying through space and encounters electrons in orbit around an atomic nucleus" Wiki answers saying it would attract in this scenario but why would it happen it doesn't explain.

What? No. The neutrons won't interact with the electrons, although they might interact with the nucleus.

There is a very small interaction between neutrons and electrons, because although neutrons don't have charge, they do have a small magnetic moment.

Hello there

there requires a slight need of modification
first of all
Neutrons are composite particles made up of quarks ( one up and two down ) which are charged, so the electromagnetic interaction is not out of the picture..
BUT ELECTRON AND QUARKS CAN INTERACT VIA THE WEAK INTERACTION.

so the basic question of yours is wrong.

Neutrons and electrons don't attract, as far as I'm aware. Neutrons are neutral, so don't attract any charge, while a negative electron would be attracted to a positive charge, e.g. a proton.

Neutrons and electrons aren't attracted to each other as they are both part of the same atom. Although, atoms with lone (unpaired) valence electrons tend to form bonds with other atoms that also have unpaired valence electrons to fill their outer electron shells (covalent bonding). An example of this is
2 H2 + O2 ---> 2 H2O. Also, a negatively charged object (balloon rubbed on hair) would be attracted to a neutrally charged object (wall) as the neutrally charged object would be charged by induction; the positive charges within the neutral object would come to the surface because they are attracted to the negatively charged object, and the negative charges in the neutral object would be repelled (balloon sticks to wall).

Because every molecule wants to complete themswlves,to have 8 electrones or protones. Its like their dream, wish lol.
