1. Find the value of constant C for which the integral

(x/(x^2+1))-C/(3x+1) from 0 to infinity

converges.

Evaluate the integral for this value C.

2.

Show that if a>-1 b>a+1 , then the following integral is convergent.

x^a/(1+x^b) from 0 to infinity
