n= number of term in sequence a= first number of sequence and D =difference between sequences

a + (n - 1)d > 0

in AP,
term(n)=a+(n-1)d
where,
n==>the number of the term in sequence
a==>the very first term
d==>difference bet each term

nth term = a + (n - 1)d, where a is the first term and d is the common difference.

If d ≤ 0 then the progression decreases, so n must be 1 and a > 0.

If d > 0 then you must define n in terms of a and d.
a + (n - 1)d > 0
(n - 1)d > -a
nd - d > -a
nd > d + a
n > (d + a)/d
n > 1 + a/d
Since n is an integer, round 1 + a/d up to the next whole number.
