✔ 最佳答案
x + y = 5
Squaring both sides, we get
(x + y)^2 = 5^2
x^2 + 2xy + y^2 = 25
But xy = 6
That is x^2 + 2(6) + y^2 = 25
x^2 + 12 + y^2 = 25
So x^2 + y^2 = 25 - 12 = 13.

Answer: 13

x^2 + y^2
= (x + y)^2 - 2xy
= (5)^2 - 2(6)
= 13

(x + y)^2 = x^2 + 2xy + y^2
(x + y)^2 - 2xy = x^2 + y^2
