Dude, even you notice that the girl can ignore you for weeks before she has a problem and talks to you. It she that awesome that you have you think about her so much? Well on the other hand, being a nice guy is a good thing. But yea, keep her in the friend zone….

Hi B, there's no limit to being nice. It's better to be the nice guy. If girls are willing to share their problems with you, then they have trust in you. The only concern that may come up is that they may just see you as a friend only. So if you a girl you like is doing this, then you have to show some interest.

There is nothing wrong with being nice. "Jerks" get laid because they're fun to be with. A lot of "nice guys" are just plain boring to be with.

In your specific case, I would cut her off. You can listen to a girl's problems, and you can even give advice to her sometimes, but if she is ignoring you most of the time then she's probably just using you.

If you have some sort of actual relationship, then listen, acknowledge her problems, and then change the subject to something more upbeat.
