=(1)Until 1776,George III was King of England,who was also King of American Colonies.In 1776 when the Colonies wanted to rule themselves in a lot of fighting,Rip didn't know that because he was asleep for 20 years, and found the world has changed.
(2)The story happened in America.
(3)Don't be a harsh,severe,unreasonable wife to Rip.
(4)When Rip woke up,he found his old,rusty gun which he thought those men took away his gun and left the rusty one behind.
(5)Only his daughter Judith and her husband recognised him.later.
(6)When the sound of thunder in the mountains were heard, the Dutch were back playing ninepins just like thunder.
