It is given that tanx=√2 , find the value of (sinx+2cosx)/(cosx-sinx) and leave your answer in surd form.
NEED STEP,PLZ!!!

(sinx+2cosx)/(cosx-sinx)

divid numerator and Denominator by cosx

= [(sinx+2cosx)/cosx]/[(cosx-sinx)/cosx]

= (sinx/cosx+2cosx/cox)/(cosx/cosx-sinx/cosx)

= (tanx + 2)/(tanx -1)

= ( √2 + 2 )/(√2 - 1)

(√2 + 2 )/(√2 - 1)

= (√2 + 2 )/(√2 - 1) * [(√2 + 1)/(√2 + 1)]

= (√2 + 2 )(√2 + 1)/(2-1)

= (√2 + 2 )(√2 + 1)

= 2 + √2 + 2√2 + 2

= 4 + 3√2
