For example, before I cross the river to experience this event , the target group members and I made everyone able to complete the process , but the activity at the beginning of the beginning, my group often fail , but soon a little success from the start all over again , plus I saw the other team faster than when the crew began to appear some negative emotions, and some other crew members began doing a good job , we do not wish to start activities , and although I did not say a word , but in my heart already thinking about who is doing a good job , it is better not to do it too hurt you. But when one of the crew said some words of encouragement after the start and done , everyone's mood slowly relieves some, start working together , we are very happy that we finally reached the goal , after we completed also help other groups . In reflecting , we are very committed to recall the circumstances, but also very grateful to encourage our members . For example, 我在體驗過河這個活動前,我與組員訂立的目標是每個人都能夠成完全程,但活動開始時的最初,我組常常失敗,成功少許但是不久又要由頭來過,加上看見其他團隊都比我快時,組員們開始出現了一些負面情緒,有些組員開始說其他組員做得不好,大家開始沒有心情再進行活動,而我雖然當時沒有說出一句話來,但在心裡已經想著是誰做得不好,做就做得好些啦不要連累大家。但當其中一個組員說了一些鼓勵的話語後並且開始做到時,大家的心情也慢慢舒緩了一些,開始一起合作,最後我們也很開心我們達到了目標,我們完成後還幫助其他小組。在反思時,我們也很投入去回想當時的情況,也很感謝鼓勵我們的組員。而我在這裡給我提升了與同學們之間的合作精神及信任。
相反,如果沒有adventure wave,那麼參與者只會跟著導師體驗活動,進行反思並得出結論,最後運用當中所學到的扳能在日常生活中。這樣完成沒有給參與者參加過討論,只是跟著導師的目標走,當能夠達到導師所要的目標後,參與者可能還是不知道在過程中我學到了甚麼。
