A. the cast lowland
B. the northern part of England
C. the northwestern part of Scotland
D. Wales

I think the answer is C, but all my friends choose D. Can anyone explain why?

North Western Scotland.

Seathwaite (Lake District - Englnd) has the highest rainfall in England.
Capel Curig (Snowdonia - Wales) has the highest rainfall in Wales.
