The tenses are grammar are correct, but the paragraph seems a bit lengthy.It's better to write like this:
Sam arrived the school at 4:00pm which was fifteen minutes later than I left the school.

Past perfect tense :-had+past participle using it for up to a certain time the action finished.
eg:-When Sam got to the school at 4pm, I had already left.
eg:-I had left school before Sam came to school at 4 pm.
