Using 8% as a basis ,Calculate the total amount of investing $5000 at the end of each year for a period of 10 years, followed by $10000 at the end of each year for a period of 10 years, and finally $15000 at the end of each year for another 10years

y=5000(1.08^x)y=10000(1.08^x)
y=15000(1.08^x)
x is the number of years and y is the answer. Plug each yr in x and solve for y. This would be REALLY easy if you had a graphing calculator. At the top left, click on the bottom [y=] and put in the equation. Then click on the button that says [table]. And there will be a table of values. :) Hope this helps.
