If you obtain a divorce in the UK but lie about the facts?

If you lied about key facts on your divorce application and the divorce was granted on the basis of what you said, would you still be legally divorced?

If you remarried would it technicaly be adultery?

If the divorce was based on two years seperation but infact was only a few months would it stand?

In the UK all you need to prove is Marriage Breakdown. Who did what to who makes no difference.

EDIT: Still stands but sounds odd as a Marriage certificate has to be produced. If that was forged then whoever forged it could be prosecuted.

The divorce, having been granted, would still stand as a legal document. However, there is the possibility of your being charged with perjury, having lied to the court about your position.
