I taught 3 lessons a days, with each lesson lasting for 45 minutes.
Is the word "lasting" appropriate here, is there another word or expression for it? Thank you.

You could say "I taught 3 45 minute lessons every day." Your example is in the passive voice, which isn't recommended.
