Shouldn't the creationists be in the science section explaining how all the scientists are wrong? Why R&S?

lol, they know they're wrong and that serious scientists or those truly interested aren't going to listen to their nonsense rants...BTW, hi!
2013-11-26 8:14 pm
Likely they'd be ignored by the majority of scientists who'd want nothing to do with them!

It's that God's image thingy that science destroys. So they come to bash atheists with it!

Here only half the people laugh at them. In the science section everyone will.
2013-11-26 8:13 pm
Because the science section would eat them alive.
2013-11-26 8:15 pm
People who aren't really interested in understanding science ask science questions in R&S
2013-11-26 8:15 pm
every time they get that they get Laughed out of the section...

They are from time to time. I occasionally see "goddidit" type answers in the Space & Astronomy section.
參考: @2 Shepherds ... yeah except your bible commands you to. Never mind that though right? -edit- Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Mat 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you Mar 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Gal 6:9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. 2 Tim 3:16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness Psalm 96:3 Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples! Isiah 12:4 And you will say in that day: “Give thanks to the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the peoples, proclaim that his name is exalted. I understand it just fine.

Stop pointing that out. You're ruining everything.

There are no origin questions in science, only homework
2013-11-26 8:22 pm
They have tried: Those science guys verbally kick their a$$es every time they go there spewing their nonsensical vitriol.

Creationism is a religion--that's why isn't NOT in the science section.

There is no Professor of Creation Science in any college or university supported by state or federal funds. It truly died with the discovery of DNA, and it got renamed as ID. Except any study of anatomy will prove that there was no intelligence in the design of animals.... the human spine......for one.

All critters with a backbone use this skeleton in a horizontal position...horses, sheep goats, dogs, fish. Then humans who are just naked apes, opted to stand almost all the time when awake. And if you live long enough, your lumbar spine will give you fits. It was never ever meant to be used in an upright position.

There are zillions of examples of this sort of "non-intelligent" design in all sorts animals, and the list is endless.

Your asking a "belief" to disprove a science?
2013-11-26 8:20 pm
No. They'd be mullered. Stating that I threw my potatoes peel in the bin and it went moldy but did not produce intelligent life therefore evolution is false and creationism is true does not constitute science.

I have been in there several times, presented specific challenges and so far nobody has been able to respond to the evidence or lack thereof.

tehabwa: Yes I did get answers.. but not one example of empirical evidence! (Observed in nature or demonstrated experimentally and reproducible).

We believe in God and are here to share what it means to follow Jesus and live His way. There's no point in placing the truth that we were created and did not evolve before those who disdain it and choose to ignore it.

@Fitz: Your comment/question clearly illustrate you don't understand scripture. When you do, we can talk. My Bible tells me not to cast pearls before swine. That being said, I indeed follow scripture.

@Fitz: Again, you do not understand scripture. You need to read scripture in context and see to whom specifically those scriptures are targeted towards.

Why do you think I'm a top answerer in Biology?

Why here?

"Because saying that some sludge made itself into people is dumb, THEREFORE God (specifically, whichever one _I_ believe in) exists" that's why.

In the past, though less often recently, I've seen a lot of "If evolution is real, then how come there's monkeys?" in the Anthropology category, over in Social Sciences. (And, yes, they ALWAYS say 'if' -- as though it might not be true.)

I rarely hang out in the Science section because it's full of textbook questions posted by cheaters, rather than REAL questions.

Edit: NMDA posted "Where is your evidence?" a YEAR ago. And DID get answers (though not very many).
2013-11-26 8:16 pm
Only if they wanted to try to out-troll the "atheists".
2013-11-26 8:42 pm
Here is what you have mixed up.

Christians do not have any significant questions pertaining to creation. We get it. We believe it. Nothing more to discuss about it. We have moved on.

The only reason Christians end up discussing creation is because the atheist crowd keeps bring up the topic. Or asking, "Prove God is real." We are simply responding to their nonsense questions.
2013-11-26 8:19 pm
well thats an individual choice. im a theologian. and an ordained elder (though inactive in church) and i am very much a "witness" of jesus. well else can i go on Yahoo, where i can "share" what i know and possibly answer a few questions with absolute authority? !!!

if indeed it is true that all of them or half would laugh at us, thats a good reason not to go, most of us are not scientists because many are specialized in their fields of labor. or some are just students. science will never prove evolution is truth. its just another form of delusion invented by Luciferian worshipers who happen to lead atheists down a prim rose path of lies.
my opinion. but i think many R&S people would believe it.

i also think that R&S people shouldn't even answer a question that is not religious or inspirational or some kind of spirituality, maybe the evolutionists would go away!
2013-11-26 8:19 pm
Because the science section is full on stuff like chemistry, not creation the Big Bang would be in physics. It's like asking what would a fish be doing on land? It's just there. Most Christians aren't in the science category, and IMO should stay here. We know what it's like for people to come snooping into "our category" so most of us don't do it to atheists.
